Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels 1–6

Not sure where your swimmer belongs? Pick the closest level on the registration form — we confirm placement in the water during the first lesson.

4Stroke ImprovementLonger front and back crawl, breaststroke and elementary backstroke, headfirst entries.
5Stroke RefinementRefining all strokes, sidestroke, flip turns, endurance swimming and shallow dives.
6Swimming and Skill ProficiencyDistance swimming, fitness swimming, rescue skills and personal water safety.

Preschool track

Our youngest swimmers follow a separate progression with its own skill checks — Seahorse, Starfish and Dolphin. Preschool levels are evaluated on their own, not against the numbered Learn-to-Swim levels.
